
Sheela
Sheela Subramanian is an entrepreneur, speaker, and the bestselling author of “How the Future Works.”
Most recently, she was Vice President at Slack Technologies and she holds over 20 years experience building and leading global teams at Google, Slack, and Salesforce. Sheela is also the co-founder of Future Forum, a research consortium studying the changing nature of leadership and work.
As a champion for gender equity in the workplace, Sheela’s perspective is regularly cited in publications such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and Fast Company. She has spoken at conferences like Fortune’s Brainstorm conference, TIME100, and SXSW.
Sheela earned her BA from Stanford University and MBA from Harvard Business School. She serves as Chair of the Board of Stanford University’s Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. A mother to two magical daughters, she is a vocal advocate for girls in STEM and sports.
